Conveniently situated on the Main Highway from Christchurch to
Queenstown, Trevor and Jill Allan welcome all travellers for a Farm
Visit. Get up close and personal with Alpaca and Llama and sheep
see the very clear difference in the two camelid species. At the
right time of year Nov to March we have new cria (baby alpacas)
will be around with their mums.
Bookings are preferred but not always required just call into the
farm.
Cost $20.00 per adult & $15.00 per child (Pre Schoolers
FREE)

Four Peaks High Country Track

Walk or Mountain Bike ride over an historic private sheep & cattle Station, in the hills between Geraldine & Fairlie - and only 15 minutes from Fairlie.
You stay in upgraded musterer's huts with flush loo's and hot showers, and a ton of charm. Your big packs are transported from hut to hut so you only walk with a small daypack to carry lunch & wet weather gear.
The walking/biking track is a 45-60km circuit with wonderful scenery, a great way to explore some of New Zealand's high country paradise. Magic!
Bookings are essential. Open from mid-November to April. Groups up to 10 people.

Fairlie Golf Club has an 18 hole course on Talbot Road. It is a well groomed, flat course with a challenging par 70 layout with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
The Club welcomes visitors and green fees are cheap at $20 per round.
Major tournaments are the Fairlie 500, a 72-hole mens tournament held on the 3rd weekend in March and the Glencairn ladies tournament which is a pairs tournament held every April. Both events always attract capacity fields.

Our new shop will be open by the end of January (hopefully). In the meantime a good selection of items are available at a temporay shop set up on the farm at 18 Nixons Road.
High quality alpaca wool products, made from both locally grown alpaca wool and imported products. Baby wear through to Adults clothing. Socks, Slippers, Innersoles, all your knitting requirements. Also pillows, duvets and underlays.
