Part of this means there is now a new opportunity for a motivated Transport Engineering Officer – a new opportunity for an ambitious and capable person to join the team.
This is a key role and reports into a similarly motivated Roading Manager, meaning there is a golden opportunity to really shape a great team culture moving forward. You will have responsibility for coordinating and managing the use of roading corridors; supervising of physical works; helping with the capital works programme; approving roading requests and handling road closures; contract management and working with maintenance contractors.
With a wide variety of responsibilities this is a real opportunity to develop grow your skillset and yourself and for you to make a meaningful contribution to the community.
About you
Ideally a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
Previous experience working with Capital and Asset Management programmes and database management
Able to demonstrate above average technical knowledge and administrative capabilities
High level customer service skills and ability to build and manage a range of relationships
Data entry and inputting skills in order to create reports for the wider community
Excellent attention to detail and a real focus on quality
